Comprehensive wellness exams
As with our own health, the key to maintaining your pet’s health is preventative medicine. There are many aspects of preventative medicine and perhaps the most important is regular thorough physical examinations to identify the risk factors and early signs of illness. Vaccination programs for preventable diseases are another important factor as are dental care, weight management, and a healthy diet.

Surgery and Anesthesia
We use the safest anesthetics and pain medication available whenever an animal undergoes any surgical procedure. All patients have continuous monitoring of their blood pressure and cardiac and respiratory function for additional safety. Our experienced doctors and staff are proficient and our hospital is equipped for routine procedures as well as more complicated cases. Laser surgery is available by appointment.

Dentistry
Pets like humans get dental disease.  As plaque and tartar form on the teeth and gums, bacteria collect and multiply. Eventually gum disease develops and can cause loss of teeth, tooth root abscesses and even more serious disease’s such as heart, kidney and liver infections. Regular ultrasonic dental cleanings, dental radiographs and periodontal treatment help improve our pets overall health and improve bad breath! Our experienced staff will help you learn more about home dental care after your pet’s dental procedure which will help reduce the incidence of tooth and gum disease.

Laboratory and Radiology
Our complete in-house laboratory facilities and x-ray equipment are available for prompt evaluation of your pets’ condition and we work with several large laboratories throughout the country when more in-depth testing is needed.

Referrals
Our doctor’s work with a large network of board certified specialists in the area if a patient referral is indicated. These specialty fields include but are not limited to Radiology, Cardiology, Surgery, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Oncology and Internal Medicine

Senior Wellness Exams
Like people, dogs and cats are living longer. Diseases that commonly affect older people also affect our companion animals: kidney, heart and liver disease, cancer, diabetes, thyroid conditions and hormonal problems arise as our pet’s age. Early detection and intervention can dramatically improve the quality of our pets’ lives.
